In the first organ donation and transplant procedures performed since the start of COVID-19. After his family gave permission to donate his organs, a 26 year old man has donated two kidneys and a liver.

His kidneys were transplanted into a 63 year old male, and a 15 year old girl. And a 35 year old woman received his liver.

The International Labour Organisation or ILO praises Qatar’s Labour achievements.

Today’s COVID update

In the last 24 hour period, active cases of COVID-19 have increased by 8 to 2,706.

8,548 COVID-19 test were performed, and just 2.36% of those tested positive.

Of those testing positive 40 were travellers returning to Qatar, and they are now in quarantine.
