Election an important step to strengthen traditions of Qatari Shura says the cabinet.

Developing the legislative process with the participation of a wider range of citizens. The election represents a qualitative and historic leap in Qatar’s process, it added.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications signs an MoU to provide free electric charging units.

On Wednesday the Ministry of Transport and Communications signed two MoU’s with Nasser bin Khaled and sons and Q-auto for providing free electric vehicle Chargers. Which will be installed at locations to be specified by the MoTC.

Both the Peninsula and Gulf Times have a half page advertisement for a brand called Samkna.

Which apparently is the first fish farming project in floating cages. Located 50 nautical miles North East of Ruwais, it’s the first open water fish farm in the Arabian Gulf. And it carries the strap line ‘Sea Bass Qatari – From the sea to the table’. And it goes on to say; ‘Available at leading hypermarkets in Qatar’. Well I love a bit of sea bass, so I’ll pop along to my fish counter today, and see if they’ve got some for me to try.

Eco friendly walkway opened in Al Wakrah

The 350 metre long walkway was opened as part of the activities of Qatar Sustainability week 2020.

Active cases of COVID-19 are up by 15 to 2,724.

35 of those are travellers coming into the country and testing positive, that are now in quarantine.

The total number of COVOD-19 tests carried out in the last 24 hour period was 10,764. And just 2.11% of those tested positive.
