Exceptional entry permit holders can extend validity for 30 days.

Residents who have obtained an exception entry permit to enter Qatar but couldn’t travel before its expiry. Can now apply to extend their permit for an additional 30 days

However certain conditions have to be met before applying for the extension, Qatar’s E-government portal Hukoomi said on Monday.

The conditions are:

The extension request is to be submitted at least one day after the expiry of the previous permit.

And the Holder of the permit must not be inside the state.

Over 150 vehicles seized at Sealine for traffic violations.

The General Directorate of Traffic announced yesterday during a press conference; That over 150 vehicles caught violating traffic rules, were seized in the Sealine area last week.

According to traffic statistics released yesterday; Over the last 3 years 18 people have died, and 122 people have suffered serious injuries in vehicle accidents in the Sealine area.

Qatar has condemned the dramatic escalation of populist rhetoric that incites religious abuse, and has a reaffirmed its total rejection of all forms of hate speech based on belief race or religion.

Active cases of COVID-19 are up by 18 to 2,859.

25 of those are travellers coming into the country and testing positive. And they are now in quarantine.
