Hamad Medical Corporation launches study to gauge public attitudes towards COVID-19 vaccine.

The survey which is being led by Hamad Medical Corporation’s Mental Health Service. Can be completed online, in either Arabic or English. The survey will help authorities make informed decisions as Qatar prepares for the arrival of COVID-19 vaccine.

Doctor Abdullatif Al Khal, Chair of the National Health Strategic Group on COVID-19 says ‘the launch of this study is a vital part of our strategy, to ensure that as soon as we have an approved COVID-19 vaccine in Qatar, we can offer easy access to the vaccine, for those people most at risk.’  

No Darb Al Saai activities this year

The organising committee has said that the move is to ensure health and safety for all, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Darb Al Saai events will be held next year.

The committee said this year, we will see the establishment of many historical programmes, competitions and seminars that will be broadcast on the Doha 360 website.

50% reduction in rent for stores and barnes at Al Wakra Central Market

Mohammed Al Sadah the CEO of Hassad said ‘It is our pleasure to announce a reduction of the rental fees by 50% for all commercial activities at Al wakra Central Market. For a period of two years, as we aim to support traders, the local livestock sector, and associated activities’.  

Active cases of COVID-19 are down by 17 to 2,842.

104 of those are travellers coming into the country and testing positive. And they are now in quarantine.

In total 6,013 COVID-19 tests were performed. And 4.27% of those tested positive.
