Mercury set to soar in the coming days
The weather is going to become relatively hot in the coming days with temperatures hitting upper 30s in some areas, said the Qatar Met Office yesterday.
Temperatures are expected to rise gradually from today and significantly on Friday with temperatures possibly rising as high as 40 degrees.
Children returning to Qatar accompanied by a parent who has received their full course of vaccine in Qatar, are to be exempt from hotel quarantine. However they will still need to quarantine at home for seven days.
‘Doha Capital of Culture in the Islamic World 2021’ activities start today
The activities which will run for a whole year start today under the slogan ‘Our Culture is Enlightenment’.
Over 327,000 vaccine doses administered so far, according to the Ministry of Public Health
10% of Qatar’s adult population have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose says the Health Minister.
Today’s Weather
Doha will see temperatures between 16 and 26 degrees. Elsewhere in Qatar it will be between 13 and 26 degrees.

In the last 24-hour period, there have been 474 new cases of COVID-19 and 301 recoveries. Which means there’s been an increase of 173 cases giving us a new current total of 10,686 active cases.
