Pregnant women who have chronic medical conditions that could further increase their risk for severe COVID-19, as well as those whose work puts them at increased risk of getting infected, should consider taking the vaccine, advises Qatar’s National Health Strategy Lead for Healthy Women Leading to Healthy Pregnancies.
Amir pardons prisoners on the occasion of Ramadan
Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday an Amiri gesture pardoning a number of prisoners, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Quarantine facilities host 90,000 guests in March
In March almost 90,000 guests were accommodated in designated quarantine facilities, more than double the number of that in previous months, Discover Qatar said yesterday.

In the last 24-hour period, there have been 984 new cases of COVID-19 and 601 recoveries. Unfortunately, there were also 8 Covid related deaths. Which means there’s been an increase of 375 cases giving us a new current total of 21,227 active cases.
