It’s Saturday the 11th of April in Qatar. Here’s the QQ news brief.

The Gulf Times front page carries an article titled ‘Labour Ministry’s hotline for grievances gets over 10,000 calls.’

The article states that there were 8,590 calls from employees and 1,633 from employers.

Also on the Times front page is an item stating that The Ministry of Public Health has issued a circular instructing all pharmacies in the country to ban the sale and handling of Air Doctor

The Peninsula’s front page has a photograph with the caption ‘Stay at home’ and shows police at a checkpoint on the Corniche creating stay-at-home awareness.

There’s also an article headed ‘HMC’s virtual consultation offers access to 13 specialties’

The Ministry of public health have tweeted 136 new positive cases of COVID 19

2,279 undergoing treatment

21 recovered cases bringing the total to 227

And there had been no deaths in the previous 24 hours
