No visitors at four Hamad medical Corporation facilities from Friday
With COVID-19 cases increasing in Qatar, the Hamad Medical Corporation has decided to make important changes to the visitor policy. Starting from Friday February the 12th, no visitors will be allowed at four of its facilities. Which are; The Communicable Disease Centre, Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital, The Cuban Hospital, and Mesaieed Hospital. All other Hamad Medical Corporation facilities will be available for visitors only between 12pm and 8pm, with one visitor at a time for a maximum of 15 minutes.

Qatar marked the 10th edition of the National Sport Day yesterday with an aim to raise awareness of the importance of sport and its role in society. And make it an essential part of daily life of the individual. National Sport Day is an event unique to Qatar.
On to today’s weather. There’s a Met Department warning that there’s going to be low horizontal visibility expected in places at the start of the day.

Doha will see temperatures between 17 and 26 degrees. Today’s lowest temperature will be in Messaid which will see temperatures as low as 13 degrees.

In the last 24-hour period, active cases of COVID-19 have increased by 317, to 7,558.
10,881 COVID-19 tests were performed, and 4.38% of those tested positive.
Of those testing positive 43 were travellers who are now in quarantine.
