Yesterday the Amiri Diwan announced that tomorrow, which is Qatar National Sport Day is an official holiday.

Even more people were pulled up yesterday  as the crackdown on COVID-19 violations continues in the country.

In the last 24-hour period, active cases of COVID-19 have increased by 257, to 6,938.

13,373 COVID-19 tests were performed, and just 3.05% of those tested positive.

Of those testing positive 29 were travellers who are now in quarantine.
