The Qatar National Tourism Council has announced that the 18th edition of the Doha Jewellery and Watches exhibition has been postponed until further notice due to existing COVID-19 restrictions laid out by the Ministry of Public Health.
Qatar and the UK to cooperate on latest agricultural technologies
The British ambassador to Qatar Jon Wilkes say’s “British agricultural experts are working in Qatar. We are looking to provide the latest technologies to help Qatar use its resources to build its food security projects, including vertical agriculture, hydraphonics and other projects”.
Al Jazeera wins Wincott Award for Video Journalism of the Year
The Wincott foundation has awarded Al Jazeera the Wincott award for Video Journalism of the year for the 101 East program ‘Selling Out West Papua’. The annual Wincott Awards recognise outstanding achievements in the fields of business, economic and financial journalism.
Qatar’s weather Today
There’s a warning that visibility may be poor in some place at the start of today. Doha will see temperatures between 26 and 44 degrees. Elsewhere in the country it will be between 23 and 44 degrees.

In the last 24-hour period, there have been 330 new cases of COVID-19 and 439 recoveries. Unfortunately, there were also 2 Covid related deaths. Which means for the 29th day running there has been a reduction in active cases, today dropping by 111 giving us a new current total of 4,028 active cases.
