Qatar – Germany trade grows 10% to 2.3 billion US dollars in 2019.
With around 300 German companies operating in Qatar, in fields such as rail, trade, contracting, service, communication, infrastructure and medical equipment. Germany is an essential trade partner for Qatar. Said the Chairman of Qatar Chamber Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani.
The Ministry of Commerce and industry or MoCI has clarified in a statement on social media. That they set maximum price for commodities such as vegetables, fruits, fish and some basic items. As for other commodities their prices may vary from one supermarket to another. The clarification came in response to many queries and messages received from consumers about price discrepancies between supermarkets.
Brace for humid days ahead says the Qatar metrological Department. Qatar is expected to witness a noticeable rise in relative humidity from Sunday until the end of the week. This is due to a shift in the wind direction to easterly, which will range in speed from light to moderate. There are chances of Misty to foggy conditions in some areas late at night and early in the morning. So please be very careful. Meanwhile the maximum temperature today is expected to be 40 degrees in Abu Sumara and 39 degrees in Doha.
Qatar conducts a record 7,001 COVID-19 tests in one day. Out of the 7,001 tested 284 cases of coronavirus were detected.
The total number of positive cases in Qatar, has reached 116,765 to date. So far 193 people have died from the virus, but there have been no deaths recorded in the last 6 days.
Active cases of COVID-19 are still hovering at just above 3,000. And as a 7 day average, only 5.27% of those being tested are testing positive.
