In today’s papers.
The US rejected a planned invasion of Qatar by Saudi Arabia back in June 2017. According to a US based magazine called ‘Foreign Policy’.
Apparently during a June 6th, 2017 call – with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, US president Donald Trump firmly rejected a Saudi proposal to invade Qatar.
I’m sure more information will become available on this in the coming days.
From August 13th passengers flying to Qatar from a list of countries not considered low risk. Will be required to present a negative Covid-19 certificate during check-in at many airports.
The Gulf Times publishes a complete list of all countries affected, and also lists the medical facilities in each country where Covid Negative Certificates can be acquired.
Countries including the Philippines, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh are among those on the list, where you will be required to provide proof of being Covid negative at check-in.

Covid active cases here in Qatar remain stable at just above 3,000. With no significant change in the last month. Which is very good news indeed.
