In today’s newspapers.

Schools are Safe and there’s no reason to fear or worry says an official.

Among more than 340,000 students and 30,000 teachers, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases are very few.

Some classrooms in a few schools have been temporarily suspended, and these are continuing their learning online. Most schools are reporting an 85% attendance.

Parents are being urged to ignore rumours, and only rely upon official sources for COVID-19 information.

Qatar may see small COVID-19 waves until the year end says doctor Al Khal.

Although not the same intensity as when it peaked back in May and June, it’s likely we will still see small waves of the virus until the end of the year.

Everyone should be more careful now especially the youth, as we’ve recently notice the virus is spreading among young men and women under the age of 20 he warned.

Three more held for violating home quarantine pledge

Next five years seen as a game changer for Qatar start-ups.

As Qatar slowly moves away from the construction sector and its demand for manual labour. It will be focusing more on technology orientated industries, with a more robust society. Said Michael Javier the CEO and founder of cWallet services.

He goes on to say there will be more demand for programmers, content creators, entrepreneurs, computer scientists, data analysts and talents that are in high demand with tech companies.

Hospitality and real estate sectors showed resilience in the first half of 2020.

Between January and June hotels and hotel apartments added close to 1,000 rooms, while the real estate sector saw completion of around 3,000 residential apartments and villas.
