Qatar orders the largest number of seasonal flu vaccines, and they will be available free for all says the Ministry of Public Health
Qatar has ordered the largest number of vaccines ever for seasonal flu say the Director of public Health Department at the Ministry of Public Health Sheikh Doctor Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Thani.
He said vaccines for seasonal flu are expected to be available by the end of next month at all health centres free of cost, he is urging people to get vaccinated.
He also said that coving 19 vaccines have reached registration stage in some countries after passing several phases of approvals. Vaccines usually take from 12 to 18 months to reach production but this time COVID-19 vaccines are being developed very fast thanks to collective efforts.
I just have to re-emphasise that the vaccines which are being made available at the end of next month free of charge to everyone are vaccinations for seasonal flu not COVID-19.

Qatar Airways has paid out over 1.2 billion dollars in refunds to almost 600,000 passengers since March demonstrating its commitment to honouring its obligations to passengers who need to change their plans due to the impact of COVID-19 on global travel.
Additionally, the airline has introduced an unrivalled flexible booking policy that has proved extremely popular with passengers. Qatar Airways tickets are now valid for two years from the date of issuance. Passengers can change their travel date or destination Free of charge as often as they want. They can change their origin to another city within the same country, or any other destination on the airlines network within 5000 miles radius of the original. Or they can exchange their ticket for a future travel voucher worth 110% of the original ticket value or swap their ticket for Q miles.
I have been told off for having an opinion on the news in the past. But I’m going to express my opinion on this. It’s brilliant! It means you can buy a ticket completely worry free. And risk free.
