The opening of mission offices at NATO headquarters in Brussels will bolster Qatar’s NATO ties
Qatar and Saudi Arabia resume trade through Abu Samra port
Yesterday the Land Customs Department at the General Authority of Customs began its duties at the Abu Samra border by opening the way for trade procedures. Trucks and drivers from Saudi will not enter Qatar due to COVID restrictions. Goods coming from Saudi will be unloaded at the border, and then re loaded onto local transport for onward travel into Qatar.
Cash deposit machines start accepting new notes
Cash deposit machines of several banks including those of the Qatar Islamic bank and the Qatar National Bank have started accepting new currency notes. ATMs and cash deposit machines of all other banks will follow suit.
Today’s weather will see moderate temperatures, misty in places at first, and it will be relatively cold by tonight.
Doha will see temperatures between 18 and 28 degrees. Today’s lowest temperature will be in Messaid which will see temperatures as low as 12 degrees.

In the last 24-hour period, active cases of COVID-19 have increased by 263, to 8,675.
10,402 COVID-19 tests were performed, and 4.23% of those tested positive.
Of those testing positive 41 were travellers who are now in quarantine.
