The 2 billion plus US dollar major engineering, procurement, and construction contract was awarded to Samsung C&T corporation. For the expansion of the LNG storage and loading facilities located within Ras Laffan Industrial City as part of the Northfield East Project.
COVID drive-through vaccination service to speed up immunisation
The drive-thru centre is part of Qatar’s strategy to upscale its national COVID-19 vaccination programme. Operated by Hamad Medical Corporation in collaboration with the Primary Healthcare Corporation, the centre will provide a significant boost to the vaccination programme and administer second doses to eligible people.
Build your house exhibition 2021 rescheduled to June
Scheduled to take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre the Build Your House Exhibition has been rescheduled for June the 7th until June the 9th.
The Changing of the exhibition dates is a precautionary measure to deal with the latest developments in the worldwide COVID-19 situation.
Weather
Today’s weather will be relatively cold with some scattered clouds. And there’s a good chance that it will be misty to foggy by late tonight, with the Met Office warning of expected low visibility.
Doha will be between 17 and 26 degrees. Elsewhere in Qatar it will be between 13 and 30 degrees.
