Qatar Petroleum commences construction of the world’s largest LNG project

Qatar petroleum the world’s largest exporter of LNG, yesterday signed a contract for developing its 28.75 billion US dollar Northfield East project.

This will raise Qatar’s LNG production capacity from 77 million metric tonnes per annum to 110 metric tonnes per annum.
