The Peninsula report that the Health Ministry are to continue the COVID-19 community survey held last week. 2,500 randomly selected volunteers gave swabs and complete a questionnaire. This was to learn more about how the virus is transmitted within the community and gain more understanding of cases of infection that do not show symptoms. They say the questionnaire is expected to continue during the coming period.

The Gulf Times cover the first repatriation flight to India. The flight carried 178 passengers who were shortlisted from around 44,000 registrants.

The Qatar Tribune write that the Philippine Overseas Labor Office are working closely with Ministries to attend the needs of Filipinos in Qatar during the pandemic. Last month there were 128 repatriations given clearance and free tickets home by the Ministry of Interior.

And finally

The Ministry of Public Health say there are, 1,130 new COVID cases. 129 Recoveries and I’m sad to say one new additional death.
