In The Gulf Times today – Employers are urged to follow workers’ housing rules. As the Ministry of Labor finds 1,855 violations in just 10 days of inspections. This follows the directive where workers camps or shared accommodation can no longer be withing family residential areas.

Qatar reaffirms commitment to protect expats from COVID-19. Qatar is leaving no stone unturned to ensure workers are protected from the ill-effects of this crisis.

Qatar’s population increased to about 2.795 million in March, compared to 2.76 million in the same month last year.

And in the Peninsula – The Ministry of Education say Schools have produced more than 23,000 video lessons and 19 YouTube channels for distance learning

Hamad International Airport sees a 4.7% rise in cargo operations and sets a new record of 147 cargo flights in one day.

And finally

The Ministry of Public Health Tweet on COVID-19, 640 new cases, 146 Recoveries and no new additional deaths.
