The Gulf Times have a great story on their front page about a COVID-19 Survivor. Hamad Hassan Al-Badr, a 54 year old Qatari man describes his illness. He believes he caught it while shopping in a hypermarket. He said ‘I thought I would not get infected with COVID-19 as I used to have minimal contact with others’.

He was admitted to Hazm Meb air eek General Hospital where he says he received excellent treatment. He said ‘I did not lack anything and I consider myself to be lucky to be living in Qatar’. After 48 hours in ICU his condition stabilized and he went on to make a full recovery.

His message to you is ‘Avoid leaving home unless it’s very necessary’.

The Ministry of Interior urges residents to abide by precautionary measures. And sends a reminder that from tomorrow the wearing of face masks will be mandatory outside your home.

The MoCI has exempted certain vehicles entering and leaving the Industrial Area from requiring permits.

And on twitter, Indians wishing to register online for repatriation are being warned that registration will close soon. As passenger lists need to be cleared well in time before flights.

And finally

The Ministry of Public Health say there are, 1,153 new COVID cases. 190 Recoveries and no new additional deaths.
