Awqaf Ministry say that COVID-19 vaccine can be taken while fasting during Ramadan
They say that because the vaccine is taken intramuscularly and not taken orally, and is not nutritious. It is therefore permissible for a fasting person to take the vaccine against COVID-19 during the day, in Ramadan.
US weighs 3-foot distancing rule
The United states top pandemic adviser said yesterday that authorities were considering cutting their social distancing rule to three feet, which is one metre. A move that would change a key tenet of the global fight against COVID-19. Doctor Anthony Fauci said experts at the Centres for Disease Control we’re examining a Massachusetts study that found “no substantial difference” in covid cases in schools observing 6 foot, and three foot rules. Asked whether that meant that a 3 foot separation was sufficient, Fauci replied, “it does indeed”
