A new logo, a new colour and a new WordPress theme
It’s 2024 and time to freshen up the look and feel of this long neglected website of mine. Out with the maroon colour, in with the bright, vibrant and full of life orange. A simpler, less complicated, less clever logo that is much easier to work with and brand content with. And a new WordPress Theme courtesy of Blaze Themes called ‘Newsmatic’.
I am loving Newsmatic, it’s easy to use and I simply installed and activated it directly from within my site’s WordPress Dashboard.
I was attracted to it because
- It was FREE
- It uses native Blocks so no installing 3rd party theme building environments.
- It has the magazine look and feel I was looking for
- I can seem to make it do everything I want with colours (so far)
- Did I mention it was FREE!
So thank you very much Blaze Themes. One day if this website ever manages to generate some revenue, I promise to support you by upgrading to the paid version. And if I ever get a client who needs a magazine style WordPress site, I will definitely be recommending your products.
