Qatar obtains Japanese drug proven effective against COVID-19

Brigadier General Doctor Asad Ahmed Khalil, The commander of the medical services at the Ministry of Defence said the drug was of Japanese make and has proven to be effective.

The drug was provided to 1,500 COVID-19 patients with severe symptoms, requiring treatment in intensive care. All of them have recovered. The drug along with plasma treatment has saved many lives that would otherwise have been lost, he added.

And students will appear in exams in person as per the schedules.

Man arrested for stealing items from cars

the accused would steal items from unlocked cars in the evening while roaming in residential areas. The investigation team confiscated the stolen items and he is being referred to the competent authorities for further legal action.

The Ministry of Interior is urging people to lock their vehicles properly, not to leave their belongings in a visible manner inside their cars, and to avoid parking vehicles in isolated areas. And should you see anything suspicious dial 999 and reported it immediately.

The Qatar Football Association and Nike have unveiled the 2020 Qatar football national team collection. That will be the official kit for the team.
