The Peninsula lead with a story that the cabinet have extended by two weeks, the preventative measures introduced to help combat COVID-19. These include

Limiting the number of employees that can be in an office at the same time

Restricting the working day to six hours from 7am to 1pm, saying that all meetings should be distance meetings utilizing modern technology.

And the number of staff transferred by bus should be half the vehicles capacity.

In The Qatar Tribune there’s an article – where two COVID-19 survivors share their stories. One of them a bank worker from the Philippines, Juan Micau. Explained that he may have caught the virus while on vacation, as he began experiencing symptoms on his return to Qatar. He was admitted to hospital here where he spent 2 weeks before making a full recovery.

Hamad Medical Corporation tweet on COVID that there has been 283 new positive cases, 33, recovered, with no new deaths reported.
