The Ministry of Public Health updates its list of groups eligible for home quarantine
The update will be effective from January the 24th at all ports of entry.
The revised list includes 19 categories applicable to Qatari citizens and residents.
Airspace reopening shows positive impact on Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, His Eminence Akbar Al Baker was speaking on the subject of the airspace reopening during an interview with CNN. And he said “Just to give you an example we saved nearly two hours and 40 minutes flying to Sao Paulo each way. Khartoum will be only three and a half hours instead of seven hours. Lagos we will save nearly an hour and a half. So yes, it will make a big impact on our operational costs. “

Sainsbury’s the UK’s second largest chain of supermarkets will open its first branch in Lusail City as part of its expansion strategy.
It’s expected to open in the first quarter of 2022. And I can’t wait. I absolutely love Sainsbury’s products and those of you that have never enjoyed shopping in Sainsbury’s before, are in for a real treat.
Qatar’s weather generally today will be Clear With a maximum temperature of 24 degrees, and cool later. With the temperatures in Doha ranging between 16 degrees and 23 degrees.
Abu Samra and Al Khor share todays lowest expected temperature at just 13 degrees.

In the last 24-hour period, active cases of COVID-19 have increased by 22, to 3,263.
9,490 COVID-19 tests were performed, and just 2.37% of those tested positive.
Of those testing positive 36 were travellers who are now in quarantine.
