With Qatar imposing a series of restrictions in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases, the Ministry of Interior has intensified mobile and foot patrols in residential and commercial areas to ensure public compliance with preventative and precautionary measures, to limit the spread of the virus.

And two gyms shut for flouting COVID-19 protocol
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has shut down two gymnasiums in the Pearl and Al Mashaf for a period of one week each for violating its circulars regarding precautionary and preventative measures.
On to today’s weather; Qatar will be misty to foggy at first with poor visibility in places. Moderate temperatures with some clouds later. And it will be cold by tonight.
Doha will see temperatures between 17 and 24 degrees. Today’s lowest temperature will be in Abu Samra, which will see temperatures as low as 12 degrees.

In the last 24-hour period, active cases of COVID-19 have increased by 235, to 6,175.
15,799 COVID-19 tests were performed, and just 2.58% of those tested positive.
Of those testing positive 19 were travellers who are now in quarantine.
