The Gulf Times say an Aquatic Research Centre is set to produce 1.6mn shrimps annually. And is working on a program to produce 2.5mn baby fish such as Hamour and yellowfin seabream. Opened in January this year, the center is aimed at helping Qatar attain self-sufficiency in high quality fish.

The Peninsula have an article on the National Museum of Qatar putting together four crowdsourced virtual exhibitions.

Qatar’s Culinary Journey, Habitats and Shelter, NMoQ Creates Together and Mal Lawal Home Edition are the four subjects.

People are being invited to send 1-3 photographs, illustrations and/or sketches together with 100 words of text for possible inclusion in one of the four virtual exhibitions.

Please don’t forget that as of today the wearing of face masks outside of your home is mandatory. And carries heavy penalties for those not complying.

The Ministry of Public Health say there are, 1,547 new COVID cases. 242 Recoveries and sadly, one additional death.
