Tour operators make necessary arrangements for Umrah pilgrimage.

Doha based tour operators have been flooded with inquiries for umrah packages after Saudi Arabia reopened its airspace, land and sea borders with Qatar.

People with certain chronic diseases are not at high risk of COVID-19 complications

People with conditions such as controled diabetes and hypertension are not at high risk of developing complications if they contract the COVID-19 virus, says the medical director of Hamad General Hospital.

The weather today in Qatar will be moderate temperatures daytime with some clouds, and it will be cold by night.

In Doha the maximum temperature today will be 23 degrees with a low of 16. However if you’re in Dukhan, Messaid or Al Khor, You may need a coat today as the minimum tempreture in those three locations is expected to be as low as 12 degrees.

Now today’s COVID update.

In the last 24-hour period, active cases of COVID-19 have increased by 70, to 2,924.

11,524 COVID-19 tests were performed, and just 1.67% of those tested positive.

Of those testing positive 55 were travellers who are now in quarantine.
